ICA strikes an important agreement in Russia
Standing out with the large projects it implements in Turkey and around the world, IC İçtaş İnşaat - Astaldi Konsorsiyumu ICA has signed an important protocol with the Russian Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) during St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
President of Rosavtodor Roman Starovoyt and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IC İçtaş İnşaat Fırat Çeçen signed the protocol at the ceremony held on Thursday, June 1. With the protocol, ICA and Rosavtodor announced their business partnership for the highway projects to be implemented with the partnership of public - private industries.
Noting that their organisation was working with full speed on the M11 Highway Project connecting Moscow and St. Petersburg, which is one of the most important transportation investments as part of the preparations for 2018 FIFA World Cup, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IC İçtaş İnşaat Fırat Çeçen said: "We are pleased to have signed such an important agreement after the completion of two of our projects in Russia, namely the expansion of Pulkovo Airport and the St. Petersburg High-speed Western Peripheral Road. We are confident that this protocol signed for the highway projects to be implemented in association of public and private industries will contribute to our strong partnership. At ICA, it is very important for us to reinforce our project management experience in partnership with Russia, through new projects. We are proud to cooperate with Rosavtodor and advance the investment partnership between Turkey and Russia."

The Federal Roads Agency (Rosavtodor) is an executive public institution which manages the ownership of roads, and the public vehicles, and which fulfils the obligations under the international contracts signed by the Russian Federation in its field.
The length of the intercity roads of the Russian Federation is over 51,860 km, out of which 49,000 km is assigned to Rosavtodor and 2,700 km is assigned to Avtodor which is another public corporation.
