Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Visits Major Infrastructure Projects in Riyadh

As part of his official visit to Saudi Arabia, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, accompanied by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Riyadh, Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, visited key infrastructure projects delivered by the joint venture established between IC İçtaş Construction and its local partner, RTCC. The delegation toured the completed King Khalid International Airport project as well as the ongoing Wadi Laban Bridge Expansion Project.

During the visit, Minister Uraloğlu received briefings on the current status of the projects, construction progress, and ongoing site operations. The discussions also highlighted the growing role of Turkish engineering and contracting companies in delivering major international infrastructure projects. In addition, the delegation exchanged views on strengthening infrastructure cooperation between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 program, the joint venture continues to deliver transportation and infrastructure projects requiring advanced engineering expertise, while maintaining international standards of quality, safety, and project execution.
